Belva l. Jackson 89, of Ashland,Ky. died Monday, Feb. 3, 2020 in the community hospice care center in Ashland Belva was born June 29, 1930 in Lawrence County, Ky. a daughter of the late Wille and Fariba Wells Jackson, Belva was a member of the Normal Presbyterian Church for over 60 years and she was a retired business owner having owned a preowned auto dealership in the 1960's and Ashland Furniture in the 1980's. She was a bookkeeper for Big Sandy Furniture. She was proceeded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Johnny Jackson whom she married on August 24, 1951. A brother Clifford Jackson, 4 sisters Sarah Young, Ruby Estep, Lula Rue and Marty Clevenger. She is survived by her children Gregory l. (Cheryl) Jackson of Ashland, Ky. Elizabeth (Kirby) Hall of Ashland, Ky. Grandchildren Katherine A. Jackson, Leela R. Jackson, Sarah (Josh) Runyan, Catelyn Bowman(Jonathan Toney),all of Ashland, Ky. John Hall (Madison Jarvis) of Ludlow,, Ky., Erin Hall Norman(Aaron) of New Braunfels, Tx. great grandchildren Sam and Harper Runyan of Ashland, Ky. and Easton Croix Norman of New Braunfels, Tx two brothers Tom (Sue) Jackson and Bill (Carolyn) Jackson both of Ashland, Ky.one sister Roma Jackson Fisher of Mansfield, Ohio. Funeral services for Belva will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020 at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland at 1:00pm by Pastor Tom Jackson with burial in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland. Friends may call at the funeral one hour before services on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020 arrangements have been entrusted to the Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland. in Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice 1480 Carter Ave. Ashland, Ky. 41101 Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland.
