Jeremy M. Meade, 37, of Ashland, KY passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Jeremy was born June 8, 1981 at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, OH. The youngest son of Michael G. and Adrianne Shay Meade, he was a self-employed chef. Jeremy graduated from Paul G. Blazer High School as a member of the Class of 2000. He attended Morehead State University, the University of Kentucky, and was a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In addition to his parents, Jeremy is survived by his brother, Mitchell L. and his wife Jacqueline (Siegler) Meade, of Centerville, Ohio; his niece and nephew, Will and Lauren Meade also of Centerville, Ohio; his paternal grandmother, Maxine Meade of Flatwoods, KY; his maternal step-grandmother, Sherry Shay of Uniontown, Ohio; Other survivors include aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Jeremy is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Ballard Meade, maternal grandparents Rita and Dante Marzetti and Thomas Shay. Jeremy was a member of Holy Family Church. The Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Donations may be made to AARF ( Ashland Animal Rescue Fund) 12365 Kevin Ave, Ashland, KY 41102. Jeremy enjoyed the outdoors, camping, animals, living life, and loved those close to him. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
