Michael A. Shropshire, 72, of Rush, KY died January 13, 2023 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. He was born January 16, 1950 in Lexington, Ky a son of the late Frank and Mary Hunt Jenkins Shropshire. He was a Truck Driver for Navy Company in South Point. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by two brothers Kenny Jenkins and Robbie Shropshire. He is survived by a son Alex (Samantha) Shropshire, a daughter Amanda (Jimmy) Allen, two grandchildren Jasmine Shropshire and Sophia Allen, two brothers Mark (Kathy) Jenkins and Tim (Carolyn) Shropshire, and a sister Marti (Carl) Sale. There are no services planned at this time. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Shropshire.
