Mickey L. Blanton, 82, of Ashland, Ky died Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his home. He was born June 11, 1941 a son of the late Raymond E. and Frances M. Humphrey Blanton. He was a self-employed auto body repairman. He is survived by his wife Karen Lee Nichols Blanton, two daughters Cheri Lynn (Greg) Gussler and Tracy Dawn Hall both of Ashland, Ky, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother Terry Blanton of Ashland, Ky, and two sisters Candace Murphy and Sheila Hale both of Ashland, Ky. A graveside service for Mickey will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11 AM at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens by Rev. Tom Jones. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Blanton.
