Minnie Sue Smith, 75, of Louisa, Ky died Monday, October 30, 2022 at her home. She was born August 26, 1947 in Tomahawk, Ky a daughter of the late Shirley and Mary Jane Collins Spence. She was a homemaker in her own home. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by two sisters and two brothers Barbara Butcher, Pearl Litton, Roy Spence, and Albert Spence. She is survived by her loving husband Larry Smith, two sons Larry Smith, Jr. of Louisa, Ky and Micheal Smith of Columbus, Oh, a grandson Shawn Smith, two brothers Donald and Sammy Spence of Tomahawk, Ky, and two sisters Bessie Anderson of Paintsville, Ky and Ruby Dheel of Louisa, Ky. Services for Minnie Sue Smith will be conducted Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland by Minister Scott Mullett with burial to follow in Kentucky North East Veterans Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before service time. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Smith.
