September 30, 2025

Nikiah Leigh “Kiah” Comer Wolfe, 45, longtime resident of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren after a year and a half long battle with cancer. Nikiah was a one-of-a-kind wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. To know her made your life better as she loved with her whole heart and never hesitated to help anyone in need. She will be remembered for her quick wit and unique sense of humor, her gift for making everyone feel welcome, and her unforgettable cooking and baking that always brought everyone together. There was nothing that she couldn’t do once she set her mind to it. She had a knack for being able to recreate restaurant dishes, from appetizers to desserts, without ever having to have a recipe and made them taste better than what you got at the restaurant. Her unbridled spirit, unwavering tenacity and fierce love for those she called family will never be forgotten. Family dinners, game nights, and just having those she loved in her home always brought her immense happiness. Above all, her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved with all that she was. Especially being Grandma to her grandbabies Zekey, Way Way, Meanie, and Pretty Girl.  The legacy she leaves to carry on her memory can be seen in her loving husband of 22 years John P. Wolfe, her four sons and a daughter, John P. “JP” (Mykaile) Wolfe, II, KeAnn N. (Joseph) Wilson, Matthias Q. Comer-Wolfe, Ethan R. (Katie) Wolfe, and Preston Taylor, her four grandchildren Ezekiel “Zeke” Wolfe, Waylon Wolfe, Sawyer Wolfe, and Isla Wolfe, her mother Judy Comer, Aunt Joann Porter, cousins Angie, Chris, Michelle, and Debbie Wilson. She was preceded in death by her brother Darius “Bear” Comer. Her services will be private for immediate family only as were her wishes. Lazear Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Wolfe.
