Richard L. Collins 63, of Ashland,
Ky. went to be with the lord on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017
in Cabell Huntington Hosp. in Huntington, W,Va. Richard is
the husband of Robin Kouns Collins. he was born March 3,
1953 in Springfield, Ohio a son of Mary Keaton Booth and the
late Lee Alvis Collins, he was a retired self-employed
Mechanic. Proceeding him in death in addition to his father
are a daughter Pamela Collins Johnson, a grandson Richard
Lee Collins and a brother Ron Hall. Surviving in addition to
his wife and Mother are a son Ricky Collins of Ashland, Ky.
a daughter Sherry Collins (Charles) Harris of Ashland, Ky.
two Step Children James (Sara) Kouns of Ashland, Ky., Scott
(Jonda) Collins of Ashland, Ky. brothers David Collins of
Carrollton, Ohio, Chuck Hall of St. Clairsville , Ohio, Mike
Hall of Morgan Town, W.Va. and Chester Collins of
Proctorville, Ohio. sisters Pat Moore of Carrollton,
Ohio, Sandra Hall of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Shannon
Hennecke of Ashland, Ky. 17 grandchildren and 6 great
grandchildren. Funeral services for Richard will be
conducted Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Lazear
Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland. burial will follow in Kirby
Flats Cemetery friend may call at the funeral home Friday,
Feb. 10, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm family request that in lieu of
flowers donations be made to Lazear Funeral home to
help defer funeral expense
